If you're anything like me, chances are you've started a business and don't know the first thing about building a professional website. But, you need one and saving money on startup cost is probably in the forefront of your mind. At least for me it was. So I did what I thought was the sensible thing and paid a monthly subscription to one of those massively advertise services to create my own. Again, knowing nothing about building a website I thought somehow I would set aside enough time in my busy schedule to build a website I knew nothing about (and frankly didn't want to do). As a new business owner, I didn't understand how valuable my time was. and if my time is limited (24 hours/ day) I should be spending it building the business and focusing on the tasks I enjoy and am good at! I spent 8 months and countless hours trying to create a website I was proud of and willing to share with future clients with very little success. 8 MONTHS! of precious hours wasted on a t ask I already knew I wouldn't be good at! Feeling defeated, I did a quick google search and found Travis at Nodak Design. He was extremely professional, took the time to listen to my ideas for the site and gave wonderful feedback! In 2014 I was looking for someone to help me build a website for my hunting camp in North Dakota. I had been thinking about this for several years and it was a pain in the butt. Im a rancher, not much of a computer savvy type of guy. This is when I met Travis Bullock with Nodak Design. He really took the bull by the horns! After a couple conversations and ridiculous questions on my part, he came up with North Dakota Territory website. He did all of it! With his direction and a little input from me, he put together a site that was easy for my hunters to access and understand. I get more comments on the site than I could have imagined.
